Our Events
Throughout the year Peques hosts many events where we invite parents into the setting. We host a BBQ in the summer and a Winter Wonderland leading up to Christmas. We also hold smaller events throughout the year such as parent workshops, fundraisers and smoothie and coffee mornings.
Development
Peques holds progress meetings twice a year with your child’s key worker. These meetings are a great way to share information and connect with your child’s development progress. Your child’s next steps are discussed with the key worker and the parent to ensure everybody is working together to provide support in all areas, so that learning can be extended at home as well as at the nursery.
Learning Journals
Our Learning Journals are designed to follow your child throughout their education journey. Used in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage developmental stages, they help us assess how each child is progressing.
Our software Famly is interactive and has been tailored to work alongside parents and carers, enabling them to share in the journey with their children — building strong foundations for their future.
Your Child’s Team
Each child is assigned a key worker within their group. The key worker tracks your child’s development in line with the EYFS framework and ensures that every child’s learning and care is tailored to meet their individual needs. They also seek to engage and support parents and carers in guiding their child’s development at home.
