Now recruiting · Fulham Broadway & Parsons Green
Nurturing an International Generation
Peques has been part of the Fulham community since 1999. We are a trilingual early years institution where English, Spanish and Mandarin are spoken naturally throughout the day, across two settings: Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green.
Registering your interest takes under two minutes and needs no CV at this first step. We read every application ourselves and come back to you within three working days.
The language requirement
Our curriculum is delivered in English, Spanish and Mandarin, and every room is staffed so that children hear all three languages each day. This role therefore carries a language requirement.
Alongside English, you will need to be fluent in either Spanish or Mandarin, to a standard that allows you to work with children and speak with families in that language throughout the day. The requirement belongs to the role and applies equally to every applicant.
The role
We are looking for qualified early years educators to join our teams, bringing their language, their culture and a genuine interest in how young children grow.
Salary
Level 3 Early Years qualified and above
£37,500
per year
Level 2 Early Years qualified
£33,000
per year
We are recruiting qualified practitioners only. Qualifications obtained outside the UK are welcome and will be assessed for equivalence during the process. The salaries above apply on successful completion of a three month probationary period.
What you will do
What we are looking for
Our approach
Our role is not to insert information into children’s minds but to guide them and draw their creativity out from within. We value each child individually and within their family, and we work in partnership with parents as the first educators of their child.
In practice, that looks like homemade meals prepared daily in our own kitchen, natural open-ended resources, an allotment, a pop-up library, yoga and sport, and three languages living side by side in every room.
Working with us
Plus bank holidays.
Free breakfast before 8.00am, free lunch, and free supper on twilight training days.
Employer pension contributions and interest free wellbeing loans.
Attendance bonus, employee of the month and employee of the year.
Free staff yoga and free uniform.
A staff discount on our nursery places.
Training and career development, including funded qualifications.
Team events through the year, a warm team, and a leadership door that is genuinely open.
From Level 2 to Level 3, with us
We actively support Level 2 colleagues to gain their Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification while working with us. You will study alongside your role with structured mentoring from experienced colleagues, and your salary will increase at the 50 per cent and 75 per cent points of your course.
Your professional support, always ready
Peques practitioners have access to an AI system built exclusively around the needs of early years practice — not a generic tool, but a platform designed specifically for the way you work.
When Ofsted publishes an update, when the DfE revises guidance, when legislation changes — you do not need to chase it, find it or remember it. Your assistant knows it, and it is already there waiting for you. You are never away from an answer.
