1. Admission
The application form should be filled in and returned with a non-refundable fee of £35, if you wish your child to join the waiting list.
a) A meeting between parent/carer, child and Manager at a mutually convenient time.
b) In the term/month prior to enrolment, a place may be offered. This place is secured by the payment of a deposit, which is refunded when a child leaves the nursery providing one full month notice in writing has been given.
No deposit or Registration fee required for Peques Club or Spanish lessons.
2. Fees
Fees are payable by standing order on the 24th of each calendar month. The aforesaid month runs from the 1st day to the last day of the following month, e.g. 24th April's standing order settles the fees for the month of May. The deposit will be set against outstanding fees (including fees payable under paragraph (3) or other outstanding payments), but will be otherwise refunded when a child leaves the nursery, providing one full month notice in writing has been given. The aforesaid month runs from the 1st day to the last day of the following month.
The deposit is payable regardless of entry date. Peques reserves the right to review fees annually. The monthly fee is calculate by multiplying the weekly figure by 50 and divided by 12. Therefore all months are the same irrespective of the numbers of weekends or bank holidays. Please note: As of 1st April 2007, the first working day of the year (January) will be classed as a teachers training day. This day will be classed as a normal payable day.
When a child reaches their second birthday the fees payable will change on the first of the month following their birth date.
An 8% discount is available to siblings of children already enrolled in the nursery. The discount applies to the child with the lesser attendance.
Grants for 3 and 4 years old are available; we also take WFTC (Working Families Tax Credit) in consideration.
All bookings for Peques Club/Spanish lessons should be MADE and PAID in ADVANCE.
3. Notice of removal or reduction in attendance
One full calendar months notice in writing is required for any child leaving the nursery or reducing his/her attendance. If a month notice is not given a month's fees (or appropriate proportion in the case of a reduction in attendance) will be payable.
4. Attendance
If your child is unable to attend, please notify the Manager as soon as possible. Otherwise, children are expected to attend regularly. The nursery regrets that refunds cannot be arranged in the case of absence or holidays.
5. Illness
Parents are requested to notify the Manager if children have been in contact with any infectious diseases. The nursery reserves the right to refuse entry to any child the Manager considers is, or may be, unwell or suffering from any contagious or infectious complaint. In the event of an accident or illness requiring medical treatment, every effort will be made to contact parent/carer. If all else fails the nursery will take the child to hospital or child's doctor.
