1. Admission
Admission to Peques Anglo – Spanish Nursery Schools is carried out on application submitted by parents or other legal guardians of the child. Application Forms provided by parents have to be returned to Peques along with non-refundable Registration Fee of £35.00. Once a place is offered it should be secured within a month of the date a confirmation letter is dispatched to the parents by provision of £500.00 deposit. The deposit is fully refundable on the following conditions:
- One full calendar month notice of withdrawal has been provided e.g. notice given on the 20th April starts on 1st May and ends on 31st May.
- There is no outstanding balance on child’s account
- The child has attended the nursery for at least three months from the commencement date
The deposit may be waved only for special arrangements or promotions announced by Peques.
Any child who starts Peques Anglo – Spanish Nursery Schools is expected to attend at least three months.
The following categories of children will have priority in obtaining a place in Peques:
- Children who already have siblings in the nurseries
- More frequent attendance schedule
Unfortunately Peques will have to refuse a place to the children who intend to attend Peques for less than three months.
In order to achieve the best results for the children Peques requires the following minimum attendance:
- At least three Full Day Sessions a week for under 2 year olds
- At least two Sessions a week for over 2 year olds
2. Fees
Fees are payable by standing order on the 24th day of each calendar month. The aforesaid month runs from the first day to the last day of the following month, e.g. 24th of April standing order settles the fees for the month of May. The deposit will be set against outstanding fees including fees payable under paragraph (3) or other outstanding payments but will be otherwise refunded when a child leaves the nursery as per paragraph (1).
All the fees for Extra Sessions should be settled by the end of the calendar month, in which the session was booked. Please note that the session cannot be cancelled and will still be charged should the notice of cancellation be received less than 24 hours before the session.
The fees change following the child’s second birthday. Such changes take effect in the following month, e.g. if a child’s birthday is on 7th March, the fees will change as of 1st April.
Peques provided 8% discount to the older sibling should two or more siblings attend one of our nursery schools.
All the late payments including those for extra sessions not settled until the end of calendar month are subject to Penalty Charge of £10.00. Penalty Charge is billed to the child’s account every Monday at 8.00am starting from the first Monday of the month, and every Monday until the bill is settled.
All the cheque submitted to Peques towards fees that are subsequently returned by the bank unpaid are subject to £10.00 Penalty Charge billed to the account upon bank’s notification, and subject to lateness penalties until the bill is settled.
Peques reserves the right to review fees annually. The notice of such changes will be posted by Peques at least one month before they take effect.
The monthly fees are calculated by multiplying a weekly figure by 50 and divided by 12. Therefore all the months’ fees are the same irrespective of the bank holidays or weekends. Please note that the first working day of January is classed as a teachers’ training day. This day is classed as a normal payable day.
Peques retains the right to suspend the provision of childcare at any time if the fees have not been paid providing notice until the last day of calendar month (notice given on 12th April will take effect on 30th April) but not less than two weeks.
Grants for 3 and 4 years old are available; we also take WFTC (Working Families Tax Credit) in consideration.
The nursery regrets that refunds cannot be arranged in the case of absence or holidays.
