All food at the nursery is freshly prepared by a full-time chef and most of our vegetables are organic. In addition all menus have been checked and approved by a qualified dietician to ensure that children receive a well balanced and nutritious diet. At Peques we strive to offer children a balanced menu throughout the day and all our vegetables and most of the fruit.
Breakfast is served until 9.00 am and consists of cereals, toast, milk and water.
Morning Snack (10:00 AM): children are provided with a mixture of organic seasonal vegetables, fruit or buiscuits with milk and water.
Lunch Meal (11:30 AM): children are provided with a healthy balanced cooked menu that will rotate every week to allow different children to try different kinds of food. Some examples follow:

Afternoon Snack (2:30 PM): children are provided with a mixture of organic seasonal vegetables, wheetabix, pancakes, tomatoes, cheese bruschetta, biscuits etc...
Afternoon Tea (4:30 PM): children will be enjoy a variety of dishes such as: scrambled eggs with pitta bread, seasonal vegetables, rice with tuna, pasta pesto,vegetable noodles, roasted chicken with pitta bread etc...
Please note this is not their evening meal and children should receive a balanced dinner when they get home.

Please note that the times below are approximate and that menus will vary according to the seasonal organic products. Also, a daily report will be given to parents informing on their child's daily diet. Babies will always be fed on demmand.
The East Grinstead nursery will start breakfast at 7.30 for early birds only.
