Toddler Section

Making the transition from baby to toddler

The toddler section is located within the main hall of the nursery; children will usually leave the baby unit as soon as they begin to walk and start to explore their surroundings. It is a time when teachers place great care and attention, ensuring that children make the transition from baby to toddler in the most effective way.

Loving and enjoyable environment

Not only is this the best way of introducing your child to the preschool section but the special care given ensures that your child feels safe whilst at the same time encouraging confidence and self-assurance in a loving and enjoyable environment. Children from the age of three to five years join the preschool area in the main room and begin the ‘Foundation Stage’ or preschool curriculum.
